🔍 How We Verify Drivers
Before any driver can list a ride on Book Kar, they must complete our 3-step verification process:
- Identity Verification: Aadhaar card, PAN card, and selfie verification via our AI-powered system.
- Driving License Check: We verify the license number directly with the RTO database.
- Vehicle Inspection: RC book verification and vehicle fitness certificate are required.
🚗 During Your Ride
- Always verify the driver's name, photo, and vehicle number before boarding.
- Share your trip details with a trusted family member or friend.
- Use the in-app SOS button in case of any emergency — it alerts our 24/7 safety team instantly.
- Sit in the back seat when traveling alone for extra safety.
- Do not share personal information like home address with co-travelers.
- Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, cancel the ride.
👩 Women's Safety Features
- Women-only ride filter: female riders can choose to travel only with female drivers.
- Trusted Contacts feature: share live location with up to 5 contacts automatically.
- Night-time safety mode: extra verification required for rides between 10 PM and 5 AM.
- Female-only carpool groups for regular commuters in select cities.

All reports are handled within 2 hours. Serious incidents are escalated to law enforcement immediately.
📋 Community Guidelines
- Be respectful to all co-travelers and drivers at all times.
- No smoking, alcohol, or drugs during any Book Kar ride.
- Keep noise levels reasonable, especially during early morning rides.
- Carry only reasonable luggage as agreed during booking.
- Be punctual — respect other passengers' and drivers' time.
